Our Members are busy.
They have fulltime jobs, and families to care for. They have Kids and calendars and various social and other volunteer commitments. So we value their time when they spend it collectively fighting climate change with us.

This year we’ve seen our volunteers;

      • Plant trees with the City of Abbotsford

        • Insulate homes to prevent heat loss and reduce energy use and utility costs.

        • Trim back branches and plants along bike lanes and paths so cycling is safer

        • Speak publicly about easy ways anyone can fight climate change

        • Writing letters to elected officials to inform them and motivate them to fight climate change.

        • Spend time helping political candidates understand climate change & helping ensure there are viable candidates for the provincial election

        • writing letters of support to municipalities who are applying for active transportation infrastructure grants.

        • Supporting Local chapters of the Sue Big Oil campaign

        • Attending events to educate people about climate change.

        • Online activity to support like minded organizations in their campaigns and to educate the public about climate change.

        • Tech support for our website migration and hosting.

        • and… I’m sure some other things I’m not remembering.

      Thank you to everyone!  It ALL counts.  It ALL helps.  It ALL is a step towards a better life and a healthier planet.
